Last January, Remy and Steve Stratton planned a trip with Rune Glifberg, Mark Appleyard, Collin Provost, Ivan Rivado, Alain Goikoetxea and Han Claessens to the skate the Black Pearl Skatepark in the Cayman Islands. The boys skated under the hot sun at the park and chilled on the beautiful Caribbean island and this is a little sneak peak of all the action. Music by Sounder and ASG.

We were searching through some tapes and just found the footage of Bruce Irons and Dean Morrison were on the Gold Coast for the first WCT of the year (The Quik Pro). Volcom surf corpo, Doug Herty filmed the boys while he was perched high above Snapper on the 13th floor of the Rainbow Bay Apartments, and on top of the headland at D'bah. The action is hot and the footage is shaky - but that's what you get with no tripod and a cold VB in your hand.

THE BAY 2 LA #4

Battles was staying at the Volcom house in LA while we were there so we met up with him for his birthday at the Volcom house for a night of ruckus with Jake and the boys. We fitted in a little bit of skating while we were there and went to hit the Vet's rail which is a major bust and we only lasted a 10 minuets before the po po showed up. We headed to a spot (Old Star) which some locals made. The boys were chillin and about to leave when Joel decided to try and drop in off the roof, i don't now what made him think of trying it, maybe still a little confused from the night before. Joel said he seen mappy pull out his camera and herd the sequence start going off and said fuck it!! and that he did.
